The Royal Birthday Party

Princess Kaylee had her 6th birthday and a royal summens went out! What fun we had!
Laura Bergeson (Annalee's husband's mother) also lives in Pine Valley and one Sunday she asked me if I was going to the Princess Party dressed up. I hadn't even thought about it but thought that sounded fun. She asked if I could find her something to wear also. Of course I hunted in the costume shop at SGMT and found these dresses from "Scarlet Pimpernel".
The girls thought it was pretty funny to see us old ladies dressed up but they accepted us into their court.
Happy Birthday Kaylee. We love you!

90th Birthday Party in Huntington

On Saturday February 28, the family of Bowden Bryner Kenworthy traveled to Huntington, Utah for a 90th birthday celebration.
I believe Dad was surprised when Flora brought him over to the church.
It was fun to spend time with this wonderful family.
We love you Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. You have been a great example for all of us to follow.
Thank you, Flora for taking such good care of Dad. You have been a God Send.
We love you Dad and Flora!

Family Group Photos

Wow! Dad! See what you and mom started! I'm sure she is smiling from above.
The Lord has been very good to us. Thank you to all who have made this birthday party so fun and memorable. We hope you know how much we love you DAD?
It was so fun to have all the brothers and sisters in attendance. That has not happened for many years. I don't believe there has been a photo taken with all since Grandma Delna past away in 1991. Hopefully we can get together more often now. What a great family I have been blessed to inherit when I married my sweetheart, Don. Thanks Dad for raising such a wonderful guy!

Four Generations of Kenworthy's

We are sorry not to have a photo of Bob's family here but it didn't happen. Oh well!!! Hopefully we will have another opportunity to have that photo taken some other time.

Don't we have beautiful children and grand children?

Kenworthy Talent Show

We were so please with the ones who chose to share their talents.
Most of the participants were from the Don Kenworthy family. Was that from Aleisha's organization or just 'cause they are the MOST TALENTED???? Who knows!

Thank you to all who participated. We are so proud of you!

More FUN at the Party

Cindy and I travel to SLC

Cindy and I left Wednesday morning February 25 (after locking the keys in the car and having a neighbor come and get it opened and going to the Library to check out some books on tape) for our visit with the boys in northern Utah.

As we were leaving town I told Cindy about the books I checked out and she asked "Do you have a tape player" and I said , "No - the boys all got together and bought me a CD player for the car for Christmas." She looked at the boxes (of books on TAPE) and smiled. I THEN remembered watching the librarian open the boxes but it didn't register with me. Oh well -- we had a nice visit instead.
We went to Bret and Melissa's first and played with Kyson, Griz and Ginger. They fed us soup and rolls and we had a good visit. Bret needed to study so we made our next visit to Brian, Aletha, Brynlee, Kambria and Gavin.
They fed us hawaiian hay stacks (nummy), we got in our PJ's and watched American Idol on their big theater screen. The next morning we had pancakes and then left to pick up Sheila (Don's sister) at her sister-in-laws house in Alpine. We headed for Laurie's (my sister) house. NOW click on the photo for more details.
We stayed with Chris, Julie and Carter that evening. They fed us delicious chicken, rice, etc. etc. Needless to say "We didn't starve" on our trip.
We had a great time with each family. Cindy wanted to get to know her nieces and nephews better and play have time to play with them. They all had a fun time. She said she wants to be known as the fun Aunt they see once in a while. Brynlee and Kambria fought over her.
Cindy is hoping to someday meet somebody as wonderful as her brothers. I really enjoyed the trip with my daughter. We had a fun time. Thanks Cindy for going with me. I love you.
EVERYONE - THANKS FOR MAKING US FEEL SOOOOO WELCOME AND LOVED!

HELPING A FRIEND?

We are happy to help our Friend Deborah. She has worked at the theater since we moved into the Woodward Gym.

Anyway her dishwasher broke in the middle of the night and flooded her house. Don has spend hours helping her get her house back in shape. He is so talented and can do just about anything. I am so proud of him. He even installed her laminate flooring and it is beautiful.

I have helped with chalking and painting as well as feeding the hungry helpers.

Deb just had an operation on her foot last Friday. We hope she will be back on her feet soon. She is a good friend to us.

GAVIN THE MODEL

When Gavin was babysitting Grandma and Grandpa in February when his mom and dad and sisters snucked (or should I say "sneaked" since that isn't a word) off to Disneyland, he agreed to model for me. I was asked to design a poster and invitations for our stake Relief Society. We are tying quilts and making hospital dolls among other items. This is the front of the invitation. The poster uses the same photo. Isn't he adorable. I could just squeeze him.

We had a fun time playing with him. But.............I'm glad that I don't have small children to watch everyday. I'm much too old!!
