Our kids had a birthday celebration for Don and I at Hidden Valley Park on March 17.
My birthday is March 23. We all had a great time. Family is the BEST!

Jake wanted a picture with Grandma and Grandpa. He just loves Grandpa to tickle his neck. Can't you tell?

Happy Birthday Don
I have a lot a trouble getting on this blog to keep it current. Maybe I need to hire Jake to keep it up for me.

Today is Don's birthday. He is 29 again. He is a wonderful man and a terrific husband. I couldn't ask for more. We have had a nice day..........going to church..........having our friends Scott and Susan Taysom over for turkey dinner. Susan's birthday is tomorrow. Don is their home teacher so we killed two birds with......... well that doesn't sound very good. Anyway we had a nice time.

Our home teachers came over and we had a nice visit with them.

We tried to get a nap but with calls from the kids to wish their DAD "Happy Birthday" we didn't get much sleep but we'd rather talk to them anyway.

I was sick last week with a cold. I am still not quite up to snuff but I hope to be all better soon!

GRANDPARENTS DAY! February 29,2008
You could wear pajamas to School! Grandma loves Jaycee!
Grandma adores Jakes. She also made his "Cat in the Hat" hat!
It was also Dr. Seuss Week!
Grandpa and Grandma were treated to breakfast
and a wonderful time with their beautiful Grandchildren.

My sister Kay and her husband David rented a home in Green Springs, Washington, UT. They stayed for six weeks. Kay and I had a lot of fun together, working on mother's history, putting puzzles together, attending theater productions and even attending a few movies. (I hadn't seen one in two years.)
The day before they left town I took them to Snow Canyon State Park to bike down the trail.
Go Kay.........have fun!
Yeh, she made it. See the bugs in her teeth?
I will miss her living so close! She has always been a Great SISTER!

On February 15th
Aleisha and children (Jake, Kaleb and Jaycee) came up to Grandma's house to play in the snow and watch the play at the church!
It was just breathtaking!Jaycee had a great time in about 15 inches!
We almost lost Kaleb in the Snow!!

Picture perfect out our front door!

THE PAMPERED QUEEN in Pine Valley!
Dawna directed a play in Pine Valley that played on Valentines Day and the night after.
We began with some oleo acts. Here is the Daisy Sisters singing "Sweet Violets".
Lilac Sue Daisy (Mariam Wells), Rosie May Daisy (Dawna) & Violet Amyrilis Daisy (Reva Brooks)
This is the Daisy Sister's mother "Daisy Daisy". Isn't she cute?
Don was the emcee and sang "Had but Fifty Cents". Our Granddaughters came to cheer us on.
We had Pie, Cakes and Ice Cream after for all who attended! Boy, Pine Valley really knows how to treat their guests. If you missed it........You really missed it!
