JUNE 6 - GREAT DAY TO MARRY!

DOUBLE WEDDING! 4o YEARS OF BLISS!?!
Don and his sister Sheila Ann decided to take the plunge on the same day - June 6, 1969!
We have enjoyed many events together over the years. We all lived in Provo (just down the street from each other) attending BYU for the first two years of married life. Jim worked for BYU food services and would retrieve outdated roasts from the garbage. We sure ate GOOD most Sundays and afterwards we took long naps on the Morris' floor. Over the years we both had big families. Jim and Sheila had six children but we OUT DID them with seven children. They are the RICH ones in the family (probably because they only had six children). We have had a lot of fun vacationing with them at Newport Beach, Mague Beach (sp), Disneyland, Rocky Beach in Mexico, Fresno, Pine Lake, etc.
THANKS JIM AND SHEILA FOR FORTY GREAT YEARS!!
On June 6, 1974, Don's brother Larry married Barbara. This year on Friday, June 5th, Barbara, Larry, Don and I went to Mesquite for crab to celebrate our 40th and their 35th anniverary. On our way home we stopped by Ken (Don's brother) and Brenda's new home to also celebrate Ken's birthday (June 7th).

We always have fun together. What a GREAT FAMILY!

We were so stuffed BUT there is always room for Ken's birthday cheesecake! Humm that must be why we are SLIGHTLY BIGGER? now than in that first photo forty years ago!

On June 6, 1960, my sister Kay married her sweetheart David. We love spending time with them also. Kay has always been my second mom. Thanks sis for always being there for me!

On Saturday, June 6, 2009 Don and I attended a wedding (Ricky Wiest) and baby sealing (Joel & Joy Thomas) at the temple. It was beautiful. The wedding was in the same room we were married in (The East Room). In fact Don's parents and both set of grandparents plus five of our children were also married in that room.

Afterward the temple we went to Costco and had a hotdog/drink! We then went home to enjoy our lovely home in Pine Valley.

We have had a great 40 years. Don is the best husband in the whole world. I couldn't have wished for more in my life. I have been so blessed. Here's to another 40!!!
