On Friday, July 10th I was working in the costume room looking through clear tote boxes for possible hats to use in "Annie Get Your Gun" and one came crashing down on my eye. Thank goodness it was one with a rounded corner. Later that evening after rehearsal it started to turn purple. This is what it looked like this morning before going to church. Purty HUH?
I put on some makeup which helps alot. Boy I think I need an eye lift!! I wore sunglasses to church and everyone thought I was acting 'cool'. It doesn't hurt but it's tender to touch.
I've never had a black eye before.

Ouch! Poor mom! That looks like it hurts!
OUCH!!! The color is a very pretty purple and at first I thought it was just eye make-up...you'd fit right in with some of the fashion magazine covers. Hope it is feeling better!
